The vision

The Shine like Stars vision is as follows:

“To provide high quality children's evangelism, in order to give children opportunities to respond to God's amazing love, and to encourage, and partner with Churches to enhance their ministry.”

With this in mind, our mission statement is:

“We will seek to work alongside Churches and other Christian organisations to help them run high quality, relevant children's work as well as helping them give opportunities for families to respond to the gospel message.  This is achieved by offering different opportunities depending on the Church setting and financial constraints.  Each individual booking will be tailored to the Church's own needs.”

Shine like Stars has many different projects and initiatives.  There will be some that suit your needs and some that don't.  The cost of each event is dependant on many things and will be tailored to what your Church/organisation would like.  Having come from small Churches ourselves, we understand that money can be a problem and desperately don't want it to put you off making an enquiry. We are happy to try and work together to come up with a price that suits both parties.  Freelance people are drafted in, if and when they are needed.  Everyone who works for Shine like Stars is fully DBS checked, has had good references,  and agrees with our best practice.

Shine like Stars is a registered charity and has 4 trustees - Sue Mayo, Cheryl Cross, Steve Hough and Jon Ellis.  In 2014 one of our trustees sadly passed away unexpectedly.  We want to publically acknowledge all the hard work Marc Godwin did for Shine like Stars.
